How do I sign up for credit reporting?

7 steps · Last updated October 2026

Credit Reporting is an optional paid service. It reports your on-time rent payments to the three major credit bureaus: Equifax, TransUnion, and Experian. This can help you build your credit history.

If you are already enrolled, the Credit Reporting page shows your plan, and you do not need to sign up.

Credit Reporting has a monthly fee. You can opt out at any time. See How do I stop credit reporting?

There are two plans. The price of each plan is shown on the screen before you sign up.

Step 4: Choose how to pay for the plan

Choose how you’d like to pay. The options you see may vary and can include:

    • Monthly Subscription: a charge every month.
    • One-Time Payment: one payment that covers the rest of your lease.

Check the price shown, select your preferred option, and select Continue.

  5. Step 5. Choose a payment method

Under Pay with, select a saved card, or select Add Card to enter a new one. If you add a card, select Save Payment Method when done.

  6. Step 6. Review and confirm

Check the plan, the amount, the date of the first charge, and your payment method. Read the Terms & Conditions. Select the checkbox, then select Confirm Enrollment & Pay. If a final window appears, check the details and confirm.

  7. Step 7. See your confirmation

The Credit Reporting page now shows your plan and when reporting starts. It can take about 30 to 60 days for your rent payments to appear on your credit report.

That’s it. You’re done.
