How do I set up automatic monthly payments?
Auto-Payment pays your rent for you each month on the day you choose. You pick the payment method, the amount, and the date.
Important: If Auto-Payment is on and you also pay by hand, you may pay twice. Before making a one-time payment, check your next Auto-Payment date.
-
Step 1. Open Auto-Payment
Select Auto-Payment in the menu on the left. The Your Auto-Payments page lists any schedules you already have. If you have none, it says No Record Found.
-
Step 2. Select Add Auto-Payment
Select Add Auto-Payment in the upper-right corner.
-
Step 3. Choose a payment method
Under Add AutoPay, select a saved payment method (such as My Wallet), or select Add new payment method.
Important: Make sure this account has enough money (or credit) on your payment day.
-
Step 4. Choose how much to pay
Under Amount, choose one:
- Pay in full: pays your whole balance on your payment day. You can also select Set a maximum cap so it never pays more than a limit you choose.
- Fixed amount: pays the same dollar amount every month.
-
Step 5. Turn on automatic payments
Under Autopay Details, make sure Enable Automatic Payments is set to Yes. Auto-Payment will not run if this is off.
-
Step 6. Choose your dates
- Start date: select the calendar icon next to Autopay Start Date and choose when Auto-Payment begins.
- Day of the month: under Scheduled Day of the Month, choose the day to pay each month. Pick a day when you know the money will be in your account.
- End date (optional): leave Automatic Payments End Date set to Off to keep paying every month, or turn it On and choose a date to stop.
-
Step 7. Check and submit
Read the fee message on the screen. Check your payment method, amount, and dates. Then read the authorization near the bottom of the page, select the checkbox to allow Prisma Prop Tech to take the payment on your schedule, and select Submit.
Important: If a payment is returned because there is not enough money (called NSF), an extra fee may be charged.
Tip: Go back to Your Auto-Payments to make sure your new schedule is listed and active. Check it again any time your bank account, card, or rent amount changes.
That’s it. You’re done.
